 Sunday Night SceneRachel: Tell me a little about you and the band and how it got started? Jim: ok well I (Jim) started it out a year ago and the band was alll acoustic . I toured for a while and did acoustic shows and then pretty much around august 2006 i called my bestfriend dan who i use to be in a band with and told him about this new band sunday night scene i started and if he wanted to start something up again and pretty much it happened from there Rachel: How long have you been involved with music? Jim: Um pretty much our entire lives we grew up listening, playing in bands or singing in choruses. Rachel: Is it something you've always wanted to do? Jim: Yeah what more can u ask for then hanging wit ur friends meeting awesome fans Rachel: Who would you say has been your biggest musical influence? Jim: Well we all have different influences but heres a few to name : all time low , saosin, hit the lights, paramore, the beatles Rachel: Where did the name "sunday night scene" come from? Jim: Its actually really personal Rachel: Describe the new cd, and some of your favorite tracks on it? Jim: Well we def have grown as a band and the new cd shows a lot of different things. Each song is different from the other and pretty much people can relate to each song. people can dance, sing , clap and tap your toes to the music...Sucker for a goodtime is a fav. Rachel: If you could tour with any two bands who would they be? Jim: doesnt even matter we like making new friends...all time low is def a fav though Rachel: what are your favorite and least favorite things about touring? Jim: um favorite things is exploring the world seeing new things each day and meeting the fans. The least favorite thing about it is being away from loved ones for a while. It bums ya out a lil bit. Rachel: Finally, tell everyone why they should give a listen to you guys. (Besides my recommendation!) Jim: HA ! well we are just overralll awesome people to get a long with and always having a goodtime.
