1. For those who do not know much about you, tell them who you are and how u got started?
-hello! my name is Lauren D'Aria, im a singer/songwriter..the sound of my music is basically pop/rock...ive been singing since before i could talk, it just has always been what i wanted to do, and now i have a band and everyone should come see us play! :-D

2. Has myspace helped u with ur fan base?
-Oh My gosh YES! having myspace allows you to spread your name across the world without already being someone! people are on myspace every second checking out new music, and its great (i think) for all the artists and bands out there

3. If you could choose any year to live in, including the past and future what year would you choose and why?
-hhhmmmm, that is a good question... i would say the 70's... not sure exactly what year tho haha, but i like 70's rock, and the style is really similar now to what it was then, so it would either be the 70's, or like wayyy back in the day with the native americans...so i could see how they really lived and make all their cool crafts..im a tiny tiny bit part cherokee so it would be cool to see some of that..i think if i went back to the native americans i would have to bring my dad along with me lol he would love that!

4. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
-maybe the Eagles 'Life in the fast lane' i never really get sick of the eagles or bad company..but i also really like Fergie, two totally different sounds haha but i like her music, its fun, i dance in my car by myself to that stuff haha...im not sure exactly what song, but it would have to be fun, and it would be cool if it made me think of the beach lol

5. What do you think makes your music stand out among other musicians?
- ill let you all be the judge of that! lol but ive been told my voice is unique and our tunes are catchy and heartfelt

6. Out of all of your songs, what is your favorite and why?
-so far, my favorite is "Someday" because it means a lot to me...i cant wait to finish recording it so everyone can hear... but its an emotional song, it means a lot to me

7. For someone whos never been on stage, explain how it feels to perform infront of many people?
-omg i love it! its the best rush... like being on a rollercoaster and you're at the top of a huge hill and you look down and you feel like you're sooo high up and then drop down the hill and its like wohoo, there's no way really to explain it..the rollercoaster thing could be a little close... but i love it...everything feels right when im playing a show

8. Who are some of your all time biggest musical influences?
-christina aguilera, kelly clarkson, pink, the eagles, bad company, heart, i like a variety of music, ill add in some country too, i grew up listening to country

9. If I was in a Cd store and u saw me looking at your CD but I was debating whether or not to buy it, what would you tell me to persuade me to make the purchase ?
-i would shove the CD in her hand and be like TAKE THAT and then i'd probably run away... haha no i would say that, this chick rocks, and her songs are catchy and fun and sometimes deep, and she can sing, and her band rocks

10. What is the best compliment someone has given you about your music?
-the best compliment, was an all around compliment, it wasnt just on a song, or on a voice, or on the lyrics, or on the band.. it was a full all around compliment, i cant remember exact words, but when people say "you're going somewhere with this" and tell you that the songs,voice,lyrics,band, everything is great, thats the best

11. What's the best concert you have ever been to?
-hhmmm i havent been to a concert in soo long, but i think the last one i went to was All American Rejects and HelloGoodbye, and Armor for Sleep.. that was an awesome show, and HelloGoodbye is so fun live!!

12. How long does it usually take you to write a song?
-it could take me 2 minutes, or it could take me 2 weeks.. sometimes it will just come to you, and you'll wake up in the middle of the night and grab a pen and paper and write a full song.. but then other times ill write a verse and then a couple days later some back to it and write some more, and then a week later, i come back and finish it

AE or Hollister: Hollister (i used to be a brand rep there)
Rock or Rap: ROCK!
Flip Flops or Shoes: FLIP FLOPS (i wear them all year round)

-the music is fun, catchy, deep..and we're in the middle of recording a few different new songs, so keep checking my myspace and website to hear the new tunes! i think you all will love them! i hope at least haha ...i love getting new fans and im really nice and im really wierd but thats okay.....come chek out our shows if you're in the area!!!!!you all are wonderful!!
